Brewski was my second brand identity project in the alcoholic beverage space, this time focusing on a flavored malt beverage. The beverage company was developing a refreshing new product category inspired by sunny lake days and water skiing into a standout market presence. Operating in a crowded seltzer/infused beer landscape, the core challenge was crafting a distinct identity that stayed authentic to the original roots of the brand while capturing the attention of younger millennial drinkers. Grounded in the deep heritage of Brewski's parent company, which has been crafting beverages since 1922 in the soda industry, we built an identity anchored in nostalgia, sunny lake days, and backyard barbecues, a brand that felt both fresh and timeless.
I directed the complete visual execution from concept to launch, designing the main logo system, three distinct can designs, and the full packaging suite. Beyond retail packaging, my team and I developed custom tap handles referencing water skis, built the brand website, designed merchandise, and produced original photography for social media campaigns. We also highlighted the innovative and fun pop-top cans that gave drinkers a brand new way to enjoy a cold one, making it easy to add infusions and fresh fruit slices for an intensified flavor experience. The resulting launch delivered successful market pull, quickly selling out in retail locations while sparking a wave of organic social media demand across new regional markets.
